June 16th, 2009

It was a great turn out with beautiful weather!  Thank you everyone for coming and celebrating the big day with the little man.  He had a wonderful time and missed everyone walking him around the next day.

Here are two of the many awesome pictures that Kirsten took at Peter’s One Year photo session.  She is amazing and I would recommend her for any of your professional photogragh needs… http://www.fieldstoneportraits.com/

Also, on a side note, there will be birthday pictures coming very soon 🙂

Happy 3 Years!

May 27th, 2009

Two comments…

Dustin and I have made it three years already.  Time has gone by fast!

Also, we have lots of wonderful pictures (mostly of Peter of course) that we’ll share very shortly.  We’re having some technical difficulties but don’t give up on us.  I promise they’ll come soon.

Catching up on pictures and happenings…

March 29th, 2009

Peter is officially all better now, no more ear infections.  We went for his 9 month appointment and he is a healthy 20 pounds and 28.5 inches long.  The first time they measured his length, they thought he shrunk.  He was really just laying slightly sideways.  He thought it was a wonderful chance to get back on that delicious paper that makes such wonderful sounds in his hands.

And now for some random pictures to start…

There was a tragic death that happened at our house.  It was a sad, sad day.

Pretty much every Sunday we go to breakfast at the Car Bar.  Peter is a fan of the menu and an even bigger fan of Teri!

Lon and Jessica came to visit.  We  had a good time catching up and then going to Punch Pizza for dinner.  They have excellent food there.  It was funny because we ran into my parents and some of their friends while we were there.  It’s a small world after all.

And finally, Peter got an awesome ball toy from his aunt Kate and uncle Matt for Christmas.  He didn’t really have much interest in anything besides for the box until now.  He finally figured out the wonders of the toy though.  It was funny.  He knows that red thing makes it go but hasn’t quite figured out how to push it down without tipping the whole thing over.  He also is torn between watching it go and eating the balls as they come out.  Life is full of such hard choices.

Happy 9 months

March 10th, 2009

Peter got to go to the doctor once again.  He is the proud owner of an ear infection in both ears.  I’ll give you one guess as to how he’s feeling right about now.  He actually enjoys drinking the pink stuff though.  Hopefully that will help sooner rather than later and we can get back to a happy baby.

Floor pictures and new high chair

First and foremost… Peter has two, yes count them two, teeth!

Then there’s some nice pictures of him on the floor.

He stole my heart slinky from Valentines day.

Pants are just so tricky when you’re learning to get around.

But it’s worth it when you get to eat your very own remote.

Peter figured out that there is someone behind that big black thing flashing at him.  He was determined to find the face behind the camera.

Thanks to Grandma Sherry and Grandpa Jim, Peter can now eat his food in style.  He has a lovely wooden high chair that is just so fun.

Peter has amazing aim…

February 4th, 2009

Buster Brown is sick and has shared numerous amounts of fluids with us. The interesting thing is when I’m around, I ended up needing to change my entire wardrobe, including underwear, because I was soaked. When he was with Dustin, there was one tiny little faint spot. It’s like Peter was trying to get me.

On the upside, if anyone needs their laundry done though, I am now an expert.
